This weekend England football unites to promote Play Safe a countrywide campaign to focus attention of the vital importance of safeguarding across the game.

At Actonians we always play safe as the safety and welfare of all of our players is of upmost importance. To ensure the safeguarding at the club we:

- have a designated welfare officer, Carley Lloyd plus an assistance welfare officer, Charlie Callear
- All of our coaches & volunteers hold in date FA approved DBS checks and safeguarding & first aid certificates
- Every volunteer at the club also signs a code of conduct every year

This play safe weekend:

- our youth team captains will wear the play safe arm bands
- Our youth coaches will wear the play safe pin badge
- We will promote play safe on our social platforms

Do your part to keep everyone safe:

- make yourself familiar with all of our safeguarding policies
- Ensure you have signed the club code of conduct for parents & carers
- Complete the free FA Safeguarding Course for parents & carers

Let’s keep football safe - not sorry
