The A's were unable to get a second consecutive win under the floodlights at the Bedfont Sports Club, as a goal in either half was enough for the Hatters to secure all three points despite Abigail Kargbo's strike.
The game began as a fairly open affair, with both teams vying for possession but not quite being able to keep it for extended amounts of time. Kargbo had the first sight of goal for Actonians 7 minutes in, managing to breach the defence on the edge of the box with a clever turn, but saw her effort saved comfortably.
Luton showed threat early on too, with a strike bouncing off of the crossbar 6 minutes later before being claimed by Dogor.
After another ambitious effort from either side, it'd be the visitors that took the lead 17 minutes in, as a very well-taken looping header from Tasha Fensome left Elisa Dogor stranded.
The Hatters continued to pile pressure on in an attempt to double their advantage, with Dogor making a fantastic save on the half-hour mark to deny Courtnay Ward-Chambers.
Only 3 minutes later, and Ward-Chambers would be given a straight red card after a malicious pull on Gabriella Bishop as Actonians looked to counter from a corner. A big scuffle broke out following the incident, but no other players were carded.
It only took Actonians 5 minutes to capitalise on the player advantage, as a brilliant ball in-behind found an onside Abigail Kargbo, who turned and slotted home with poise and composure.
They were almost able to grab a second goal in as many minutes, as Kargbo once again found herself in behind. She was able to round the goalkeeper, but couldn't keep the ball under enough control to fire towards the empty net. She instead found an on-rushing Claudia Cholakian on the edge of the box, whose effort was unfortunately blocked.
The pressure continued into stoppage time, as a great stop from Sarah Hudson denied Actonians the lead a second time. The half ended level.
Following more sound goalkeeping from Dogor, Actonians made two changes, with Angie Dunbar-Bonnie and Kayra Karakus replacing Nour Aboul-Kheir and Roxanne James.
On the hour mark, Luton would get forward and subsequently draw a foul in the penalty area, with Jennie Brereton being cautioned. Fensome would place her shot well, and Luton re-took the lead. Lois Colley replaced Brereton a few minutes later.
Claudia came close again 73 minutes in, latching on to the end of Vivien Ruetters' cross but seeing the effort saved well by Hudson.
There were no more clear-cut chances for the rest of the game, with Azwa Chaudhry replacing Gabriella Bishop 88 minutes in. Actonians couldn't make the player advantage count, and fell to a 2-1 defeat in Feltham.
The reserves picked up a resounding 4-1 win away at Clapton Community, with the thirds' game against CB Hounslow having been postponed. The goalscorers were Phoebe License (2), Jess Wadey and Holly Reid.
