The 26th of March was an exciting Tuesday night with Actonians hosting the intense West London derby against Queens Park Rangers. After 90 minutes of battling from both teams it was Actonians who walked away with the big 3 points after putting 4 past QPR and only conceding 2 in return.

Only 18 minutes into the game, an Actonians corner was taken short by Tori to Dom who scored a screamer from outside the box. No more goals in the first half meant that the second half needed hard work to secure a win for Actonians.

The second half was full of goals: Tori had a 1v1 with the QPR keeper in the 50th minute and managed to slot it past her in the bottom right corner. Soon after, Melia went for a long shot which hit the woodwork and fell to Shakes who buried it into the goal easily. Soon after came a perfect long ball across the pitch from Ikraam which managed to escape the whole of QPR’s backline, Shakes was challenged with a 1v1 with the keeper and managed to keep composed and get it past the keeper.

An intense final 15 with Actonians conceding from a deflection and then conceding again after failing to clear the ball from some hustle after a QPR corner. The rest of the game was intense with battle but Actonians managed to regain their composure and withhold the win.
