Our club is run by an amazing team of coaches. Every one of them is a volunteer who gives their time to their teams each week for nothing more than the love of the game.

Ken has never been far from a football pitch whether that be playing in his younger days or watching his beloved QPR from The Loft. However, getting involved in Grassroots Football again has reignited his real passion for the beautiful game.

In the 2017/18 Season Ken’s daughter joined the then Actonians U11s. That season the U11s had seen a boom in numbers in the team from 5 to 22 players. Ken spotted the predicament we were in and quickly volunteered to help out.

Ken joining the coaching team meant we could run two parallel teams to ensure all girls got as much playing time as possible. From the start Ken gave 100% to his team and the club and quickly completed the FA level 1 in coaching football. He is currently doing his Level 2 coaching course, which has sadly been interrupted by Covid 19.

The 2018/19 season saw Ken and the then U12 Blue team continue to develop and grow as a team and this resulted in a very successful season.

In 2019/20 under Ken’s guidance the U13's began developing into a better technical and stronger team and were enjoying their season, growing in confidence and even looking forward to the prospect of a League Cup Semi Final when sadly the season was cut short by Covid 19.

Ken is really excited about the prospect for the girls this coming season and the years ahead, with the aim of keeping the girls together and develop as a team. This season the aim is to hit the ground running and ensure that we have a squad large enough to get us through the whole season and still able to play at full strength.

Ken’s philosophy is to; keep things simple, fluid passing, support every player both on and off the pitch and critically to enjoy playing football.

Ken is a very valued and dedicated member of the coaching team.
